Hour markers, minute tracks and date windows all compete for space. A design with fewer elements may feel calmer, while a detailed dial can offer more information at a glance.
Check beyond the studio image
Reflective surfaces can look different indoors and outside. Where available, compare several photographs and dimensions. Do not infer low-light visibility or luminous performance from a bright product image.
